Five million families will be able to get money off food and fitness activities through a £250million scheme.
The Great Swapathon, part of the Change4Life initiative, will give away £50 vouchers through businesses and Asda branches across England.
Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said: "The healthy option isn't always the cheapest option so it's a really important step to be able to offer £50 off healthier foods, drinks and activities."
As well as the discount vouchers, the Government is offering nutrition information and recipes to encourage sensible eating habits and healthier lifestyles.
