Domenicali also says in an interview on La Repubblica online Tuesday that he's discounted the idea of stepping down and is confident 2011 will go better. Ferrari finished third in the constructors' championship, 58 points behind second-place McLaren and 102 adrift of Red Bull.
He says he expects Massa to improve because the driver knows "he can't afford to have another season" like 2010, when he failed to win a race.
Domenicali is predicting a "fierce" season ahead. He says Red Bull will be the favorite and is expecting stronger performances from McLaren and Mercedes.
