Carlos Tevez will be staying put at the Eastlands according to a report in English newspaper The Guardian.
Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini indicated Serie A club Internazionale was not interested in a swap deal for Tevez and Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto'o.
Mancini did confirm this weekend that a deal for Partizan Belgrade defender Stefan Savic has been completed.
During his interview, the Italian coach who led the club to an F.A. Cup victory over Stoke on May 14 at Wembley indicated the Citizens interest in acquiring Arsenal's Samir Nasri.
The attacking midfielder's contract is set to expire at the end of the summer and London rivals Chelsea are also interested in the Frenchman.
Nasri recently commented about his disappointment surrounding the Gunners lack of trophies since arriving at The Emirates in 2008 adding to speculation about his possible transfer from Arsenal.
