N-Dubz rapper Dappy has been charged with three counts of assault on top of the affray allegation he already faces.

The musician and cousin of X Factor judge Tulisa arrived at court today to stand trial charged with affray over a fight at a petrol station which left three men with serious facial injuries last year.

He had two counts of common assault and one of assault by beating added to the indictment at Guildford Crown Court today.

Court appearance: N-Dubz rapper Dapp, real name Dino Costas Contostavlos, arrived at Guildford Crown Court at the start of his trial for affray. He was also accused of spitting at two teenage girls and another man

Dappy was arrested last year following the incident on the forecourt of a Shell garage, in Woodbridge Road, Guildford, Surrey, at 3.30am on February 28.

The assault charges relate to allegations that he spat at two young women both aged 18, and to a  23-year-old man who lost nine teeth in the fracas that followed.

The No Regrets singer arrived at the court wearing a black trenchcoat, a suit and tie, dark glasses and and a beanie-style hat displaying the phrase 'bad intentions'.

Appearing under his real name of Dino Costas Contostavlos, he is being tried alongside three co-defendants at Guildford Crown Court.

The other men charged in the case are Kieran Patrick Vassell, 24, of Hammersmith, Kalonji David Stewart, 31, of Harborne, Birmingham; and Alfred James Miller, 27, of Brentford, west London.

All three defendants deny the charges against them.

A fourth defendant, Alfred James Miller, 28, of Brentford, Middlesex, pleaded guilty to affray and his case was adjourned until after the conclusion of the trial involving the other three.

The trial was adjourned until now since last summer after Judge Christopher Critchlow, the Honorary Recorder of Guildford, granted an application by 25-year-old Dappy's legal team to adjourn the trial until after the New Year so that he could perform on a 1million music tour.

Dappy, who performed in N-Dubz alongside his cousin and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, and Richard 'Fazer' Rawson, has recently seen success as a solo artist and recorded with Queen guitarist Brian May.

The trial was adjourned until tomorrow.
