A MENTAL health patient who stabbed to death a 13-year-old girl was failed by health chiefs and social services, a report said yesterday.
Demon-obsessed drug-user Hannah Bonser, 28, was jailed for at least 22 years for murdering Casey Kearney in a random attack in a park on Valentine's Day.
Bonser had been discharged from a psychiatric unit two weeks earlier AFTER warning docs she might harm someone.
Yesterday an independent report commissioned by NHS Doncaster Primary Health Care Trust accused a string of agencies of failures.
They stretched back nearly 20 YEARS Bonser's GP reported she was being neglected by her parents when she was just seven.
The authors blamed "professional egos" for getting in the way of real help, adding: "Throughout her life it appears services failed to listen to her concerns. She was almost invisible."
The report made 21 recommendations which the agencies including Doncaster Safeguarding Children's Board, Doncaster Children's Services and Yorkshire Ambulance Trust vowed to follow.
