Athlete Linked to Liz Hurley Speaks Out, Splits From Wife - Us Magazine

Elizabeth Hurley isn't the only one with marital drama.

Australian cricket player Shane Warne was photographed kissing Hurley days before she announced her separation from her husband of three years Arun Nayar.

And shortly after Hurley acknowledged the split -- but not the affair reports -- on Twitter, married dad Warne also Tweeted a sad announcement.

"Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago," the 41-year-old wrote of his wife. "Our close friends and family were informed at that time. It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents."

Just hours earlier, Hurley wrote a similar message about her own marriage: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun and I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

After dating for five years, she and Indian textile heir Nayar wed lavishly in March 2007.
