A Chinese bee-keeper has beaten his rival in a competition to 'wear' the flying insects.
Spectators watch as Wang Dalin 'wears' the bees
Wang Dalin, 42, managed to attract 26.86kg of bees onto his body in 60 minutes, while younger rival Lu Kongjiang, 20, narrowly missed out on victory with 22.9kg.
The pair competed by standing on scales wearing only shorts and goggles, attracting the bees to their bodies by using queen bees.
The queen bees were put in small cages and tied to their bodies.
Competitors wore goggles to protect them from the hundreds of insects
Other bees were attracted to the scent and began to swarm around the competitors, eventually covering their bodies from head to toe.
Despite loading up with hundreds of the insects, both competitors failed to beat the world record, held by Zhang Wei from Zizhou County in western China.
He 'wore' 83.5kg of the flying insects in June.
