Obama to attend 'First Four' game in Ohio - Chicago Tribune

PresidentBarack Obama, a noted college basketball fan, plans to attend an NCAA tournament basketball game in Ohio, an election swing state, and will bring British Prime Minister David Cameron, the White House said.

The president and Cameron will attend a matchup in Dayton between Mississippi Valley State and Western Kentucky Tuesday night, a gesture of goodwill during Cameron's official visit to the United States. It's also a way for Obama to connect with sports fans in an election year.

Cameron's three-day visit will also include a political agenda. The two are scheduled to discuss the upcomingNATO and G-8 summits, and take part in a state dinner at the White House on Wednesday.

Obama is also keeping with the tradition of filling out an NCAA tournament bracket onESPN, the sports network he watches daily. His selections are scheduled to be released Wednesday morning.

Basketball is important to Obama. He regularly plays pickup basketball and closely follows his favoriteNBA team, the Chicago Bulls."
