Tulisa Contostavlos is suing her former beau Justin Edwards for 100,000 pounds over leaking their sex tape, allegedly scaring him into silence over the whole issue.
The 'X Factor' judge, 23, wants damages for breach of confidence and privacy after the video of her performing a sex act went up for sale on the Internet.
She got a High Court injunction to ban the 3.90-pound tape last week.
"He feels he can't talk publicly now because of this," the Sun quoted a source close to Edwards as saying.
The devastated beauty says the wannabe rap star is the man in the six-minute video but he denies her claim that he leaked it.
Edwards, 28, has been hiding out in the West Country since the storm erupted and has been bombarded with abuse on Twitter by Tulisa fans.
The legal papers were served at a house where his mother lives in West Hampstead, North London. He was not there at the time.
"She's suing for up to 100,000 pounds. This latest move by Tulisa has really unnerved and unsettled him," a source said.
"It's serious stuff and he's got to take it seriously. It's a lot of pressure for him," the source added.
An application to extend Tulisa's emergency injunction will be heard at the High Court in London on Monday.
"This is an unusual case, in that the injunction was granted after the material became public, not before. It entitles Tulisa to seek damages," a legal source said. (ANI)
