Prince Charles does the weather for BBC Scotland: It's rainy - National Post

Prince Charles can add one more title to his long and illustrious name: weatherman.

His Royal Highness the Prince Charles Philip Arthur George did the weather forecast for BBC Scotland, along with his wife Camilla on Thursday. The couple were touring the BBC's Glasgow studio in honour of its 60th anniversary.

Wearing a double-breasted gray suit and speaking with his characteristically posh drawl, the heir to the British throne pointed to various parts on an animated map while reading from a prepared script.

"This afternoon it will be cold, wet and windy across most of Scotland," he said into the camera.

Despite the dreary weather predictions, Charles tried his best to remain jocular, at one point remarking, "Who the hell wrote this script?"

This is not the first time a royal has done work for the BBC. His brother, Prince Edward, had made documentaries for the BBC though his private production company, Ardent Productions.

Prince Charles and Camilla will tour Canada for Victoria Day in May in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, but there is no word as to whether he will do our weather report as well.
