Britain's Got Talent boss Simon Cowell and his precious pooch Pudsey the dog are headed for Hollywood.

The BGT 2012 winner Ashleigh Butler and her loveable mutt have been treated to a VIP trip to LA, New York and Las Vegas by doting media mogul Cowell.

No expense has been spared in making sure Pudsey travels in the style he has become accustomed too.

Simon shows his softer side as he pets pampered pooch Pudsey as they step out from his Rolls Royce Phantom into his private jet

Man's best friend: Simon Cowell and Pudsey the dog have been inseparable ever since they met on BGT

Already familiar with being ferried around in Simon's Rolls Royce Phantom, Pudsey's taste for the high life is set to rocket now he has flown in first class position on board Simon's private jet.

Upon arrival in the U.S. Pudsey will have to show his skills off stateside, as Simon's signed him up for a two week tour of America.

Pudsey and his owner Ashleigh will also stay in a number of luxury hotels while on their superstar trip.

Ashley admitted that it will be a nice change to stay somewhere posh as the early days of BGT were very different for the duo:

'When we were on Britain's Got talent all the contestants were in a really nice hotel and we were in a Premier Inn because they wouldn't let Pudsey in, It's very different now though.'

As well as an exciting US tour, Pudsey will also perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show in November.

How much is that doggy in the window? Pudsey is worth big bucks now he has headed to the States and has been insured for a cool one million pounds

Ashleigh and Pudsey, who hail from Northamptonshire, won 500,000 after winning the ITV talent show in May.

The teenager says she is saving the money but has bought her beloved Pudsey a few treats, adding: 'I have got him a brand new poof and of course more luxury dog biscuits which he loves, he's also had a nice new collar, but I am going to save the money to make sure I can take care of him for the rest of his life.'

If the work keeps flooding in, it is estimated that Pudsey could make around 10 million in the next five years in TV and personal appearances alone.

He is also set to make a small fortune from merchandise and has this week signed a 350,000 for his Autobiography.

Pudsey, who is a cross breed between a border collier, Chinese crested powderpuff and bichon frise, was bred by Ashleigh's mother Penny.

We will have to wait and see whether the Americans share Simon's puppy love or think he's barking mad?!

and he deserves it, after all the dog does have more talent than cheryl cole........................................................

I love Pudsey! And it is rather lovely how Simon loves dogs too.

Where is Ashleigh?

I think Simon loves dogs more than people. At least he was smiling at Pudsey. I am not a huge fan of Simon, but I always think that a man who loves dogs can't be all bad :-)

Is this a joke?

2 words: carbon footprint. Well done, Simon Cowell.

It sounds like he's treating the dog a lot better than he treats his artists.

Simon, let go of the dog, now. He's not yours!

Where there is oney he will be there

Aww the poor dog looks so sad in that second picture. He probably just wants to be at home with Ashleigh, going on walks and having a rest. Simon needs to realise dogs are not made for the showbiz industry.
