Several new world records have been set on the eighth annual Guinness World Record Day which celebrates all endeavours athletic, phenomenal or downright strange.
The event saw thousands of people all over the world attempt to secure a world records title during a 24-hour period.
In London, 28 women broke the record for Most People Crammed into a Mini.
'I was in the boot so probably the easiest position to be, 'cause we are one of the last in. I was keeping everyone packed in behind me and like had someone's arm wrapped around me. My legs up in my face but I had no one there (gestures to in front of her face) so it was ok,' record participant Charlotte Austin told Reuters.
Team leader Dani Maynard was delighted with team's performance, she told Reuters: 'I am ecstatic short of the day I gave birth to my daughters. This comes as very fab second over the moon, proud like a parent at sports day. Those girls are just amazing.'
Back home in Australia, 15-year-old Lachlan Phelps from Scone, New South Wales set a 30 second record for the Longest Note Held on a Didgeridoo
Lachlan held the note for a staggering 65.66 seconds without using circular breathing.
'Circular breathing is when you actually breath in through your nose whilst you're blowing out through your mouth, which can create an indefinite note, but what we do is quite simply put some tissue up the nose, so that it's not possible we block that line of breathing so that we know it's a single breath,' Guinness World Records adjudicator Chris Sheedy told Reuters.
Elsewhere around the world other records were broken included the Highest Forward Flip Pogo Stick Jump, the Most Pogo Stick Jumps in One Minute and Fastest 100m Running On All Fours.
Any records set on Guinness World Records day are short-listed for inclusion in next year's edition of the book.
