Glasgow Crimean-Congo fever victim dies in hospital - Herald Scotland

It is the first laboratory-confirmed case of CCHF in the UK, according to the Health Protection Agency (HPA).

The 38-year-old man, who has not been named, was found to be suffering from the disease when he returned to Glasgow on a flight from Kabul, Afghanistan, on Tuesday.
