Usain Bolt will carry the Jamaican flag in the opening ceremony of the London Olympics on Friday.

The sprinter was given the honour on Thursday, a day before the official start of the Olympics.

Bolt won the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4x100 relay in world-record times at the 2008 Beijing Games.
