STRICTLY host Sir Bruce Forsyth has vowed he will NEVER retire because he loves working too much.
The 84-year-old entertainer who was knighted last year said he'd had a ball in 2012 and couldn't wait to do more.
He said: "I'm certainly not going to retire that's the last thing on my mind!
"It's the buzz of working, people don't understand. Although I am 84, walking on to a studio floor or the theatre stage, you get the adrenaline rush which is marvellous."
He added: "Unless you've experienced the warmth of an audience, the achievement of getting your first laugh and entertaining them, singing, dancing and involving the audience, it keeps it all going."
Brucie revealed he and wife Wilnelia, 55 a former beauty queen will soon jet off to her home country of Puerto Rico for their annual break.
He's looking forward to getting her views on the show and her advice on his professional future.
He said: "When I come back I see how I feel and we go from there. Let's face it nobody will put an 84-year-old under contract for five years!"
He added: "I don't feel a pressure that I am seen as 'being Strictly' for most viewers it's a great show and who knows how long I go on for?"
However, he's already planning to return to his one-man show at London's Albert Hall next year after the success of his concert in May. He said: "It was fantastic. I can't wait to get back there."
Brucie revealed he was thrilled with the success of this year's Strictly, which has thrashed ITV1 rival the X Factor in the ratings.
He said: "I don't think we have ever had a higher standard of dancing. The final could have been won by any of the four."
He also confessed to a soft spot for new judge Darcey Bussell. He said: "She's been wonderful. Her knowledge of dancing is absolutely unblemished."
