There is obviously no camaraderie between X Factor winners past and present.
Matt Cardle has launched a scathing attack on this year's X Factor champion James Arthur, maintaining he is more successful then the former pub singer.
Matt, who won the show in 2010, was presumably responding to a thinly veiled attack from the 24-year-old on his own abilities.

Spot the difference: Matt Cardle (left) has slated this year's X Factor winner James Arthur
James previously said: 'The blokes that have won before have had a niche, they haven't sold records because they haven't made great albums. That's the bottom line.'
He added that his 'creative control' would make the difference - something which plain old singer Matt is fuming about.
In a fuming interview Matt told The Daily Mirror: 'I said, 'Look, James, you're very talented but you haven't sold two million records yet, which I have.'
He's not bitter! Matt Cardle ditched the hat for performances this year, he was seen playing Clyde 1 Live in Glasgow
'You haven't had two top ten albums yet, which I've had. Don't start mouthing off before you've even really left the show.'
Matt, 29, added that James was lying if he said he hadn't compromised himself for the show and added his 'creative input comments' had rubbished the reputation of the X Factor.
When We Collide, Matt's winning single went straight to the number 1 spot on Christmas selling 439,000 copies, while James' single Impossible sold 490,000 copies in the first week alone.
Winners: Matt Cardle and James Arthur both opted for suits on their winning night on the X Factor
James said recently about his album: 'I want to be going into a studio thinking I need to put the best possible twelve tracks or whatever it is out there because I haven't worked this hard to have my first album flop.
'My album is going to be quite diverse. It'll have hip hop influences, it'll have rock influences, it'll all be self-penned and the collaborations on it will be good ones I think.'
He even plans to crack America, unlike Matt whose new album The Fire debuted at number 8 in the UK charts.
Matt Cardle was dropped and is just bitter! go away Matt
