Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish is looking to install his new manager as soon as possible - but only if he's the right man.
The Eagles - who have struggled on their return to the Premier League garnering just 3 points from their 9 games so far - are on the lookout for a new boss after Ian Holloway left the club earlier this week.
And speaking prior to his side's 2-0 defeat to table-topping Arsenal, Parish revealed he was eager to get a new man in sooner rather than later.
"We will be seeing people on Sunday and Monday," he told BT Sport.
"We really want to get the right person, rather than someone right now. But games do come thick and fast."
Parish revealed that talks over the new appointment would begin as early as Sunday but conceded it may take longer to find the right man.
"We need to get someone in as quickly as possible, ideally someone who is available now. If they are in clubs already, it becomes a lot more messy and complicated," he added.
"We will do our best to sort something next week, if we can't get the right person, then maybe the week after."
Tony Pulis is still the bookies favourite for the role with Chris Coleman, Martin O'Neill and Avram Grant also reportedly linked.
