English Premier League club Southampton have sacked manager Nigel Adkins and replaced him with former Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The south-coast team secured an unexpected 2-2 draw at Chelsea on Wednesday but are only three points above the relegation zone.
Adkins had been in charge at Southampton since 2010 and steered the team back into the top division after a seven-year absence.
Pochettino, 40, had been coach of Spanish club Espanyol until November.
The Argentinian will take charge of training on Saturday ahead of Monday's home game with Everton.
