On an evening which saw the jury in the George Zimmerman trial find him not guilty in the death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, Piers Morgan welcomed Robert Zimmerman Jr. for an exclusive, face to face interview.
The brother of George Zimmerman, Robert Zimmerman Jr. described his sibling's reaction to the verdict:
"He is still processing the reality or notion of being a free man, of having what the judge described as no further business before the court."
As much of the nation, and even the world, debated the result of a trial as polarizing and divisive as any in recent memory, Zimmerman Jr. told the "Piers Morgan Live" host that despite hearing the words 'not guilty' at roughly 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, his brother will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life:
"There are factions, there are groups, there are people that would want to take the law into their own hands as they perceive it, or be vigilante's in some sense," he told Morgan during the live interview. "They think that justice was not served, they won't respect the verdict no matter how it was reached and they will always present a threat to George and his family."
