Comedian and actor Eddie Izzard has thrown his weight behind Labour`s Holyrood election campaign.
He joined leader Iain Gray on the campaign trail in Edinburgh.
The star said Labour is "home of the people who want to change the world".
He added: "I wanted to come and help because I know lots and lots of people are still thinking about who to vote for.
"I am a big Labour supporter because I think they have the right ideas right across the country.
"I know that a lot of people who voted Lib Dem last year feel really let down now because they thought they were voting for progressive politics, but that just hasn't happened.
"For me, Labour is the home of progressive ideas, home of the people who want to change the world.
"I love coming to Scotland to campaign, I was up for the general election and the Glasgow North East by-election where we got great results and am hoping Labour wins again."
Mr Gray said this is the third time in Izzard has been on the campaign trail in Scotland.
He added: "It's game on now in the election, so I am also really pleased he took time out to speak to the hundreds of Labour Party activists out canvassing, leafleting and campaigning in Edinburgh today."
