Where is best to sell a DB6 Instruction Book? - Pistonheads.com

I have found up in my loft, my Dads DB6 Instruction book. As I don't have a Aston Martin yet! Feel it is only right to let someone have it who owns one.

The handbook was brought by my dad in 1974 when he brought the car. The car did not come with one so he wrote to Aston Martin. I also have two letters from Aston Martin and a copy of the service history. The chassis number is DB6/ 2672/R and is there anyway of finding the current owner of the car now?

That car does still exist, and won a trouhy in a concourse event in 1981. An e-mail to the Aston owners club will make sure you can contact the current owner who might be interested in the history.

As for the instruction book. Well, Aston still sell them new so the makret is somewhat limited.

Having said that, Bonhams are selling a few next month in the auction and this one:

has an estimate of between £80-120, which might give you an indication of price. But why sell? Its a family heirloom, I'd be tempted to keep it. Less so the history, which the current owner would always find useful.
