Melanie Sykes to wed her toyboy lover after 3 months - The Sun

TV presenter Melanie Sykes has got engaged to her toyboy after a passionate three-month romance.

The ex-model, 42, said "Yes" to hunky roofer Jack Cockings, 26, on her birthday last week.

He gave her an antique diamond ring which she's been wearing this week on her ITV1 show Let's Do Lunch With Gino And Mel.

Mum-of-two Mel, previously wed to actor Daniel Caltagirone, announced the news yesterday on Twitter, saying: "me & Jack are engaged to be married and we are very giddy xxxx."

The couple met on the website and made headlines after swapping saucy messages.

Comic Alan Carr replied: "So pleased for you both. Bring on the hen party!!"

A pal revealed: "Mel is thrilled. They haven't set a date yet but hope to get married next year. The ring is made up of lots of little diamonds. It's beautiful."
