Furious X Factor judge Nicole ­Scherzinger gets shouty with her girls and storms off set on tonight's hotly-anticipated show.

This weekend the ITV juggernaut heads to bootcamp and the former Pussycat Doll is bitterly disappointed with her 'uninspiring' and 'depressing' category.

Tearing into them backstage, the 35-year-old singer, who won the show last year with James Arthur, rages: 'Girls, you watching these auditions? Not in the best mood right now.

'That last performance p****d me off. Please don't waste my time. Because I care too much. You need to know what you're singing about and focus on that song, singing it with all your heart, or else I will not care and they will not care and you will not get through today.

'Tough love, okay. Kick some butt and grow some balls,' she added.

But with judges' houses already filmed and in the bag Nicole is delighted with her final pick.

'I have the gorgeous girls and I am just blown away by the talent. They are so young but still their voices have developed so much. I am really excited,' she raved.

The X Factor continues tonight at 8.20pm on ITV.
