The Government is expected to bag a £2 billion windfall in next Friday's Royal Mail flotation but faces a growing row over the hidden value of the business's surplus London properties.
Chuka Umunna, the Shadow Business Secretary, has demanded that ministers answer questions over whether Royal Mail is being sold off on the cheap as it is being privatised with a dowry of prime London properties which it freely admits it plans to sell.
Vince Cable, the Business Secretary in charge of the sale, will be questioned next week by MPs when he gives evidence to the Commons Business Select
