Prince William 'thinks romance is vital' - Belfast Telegraph

Britain's Prince William "believes romance is important" in his marriage to the Duchess of Cambridge.

The pair, who wed in April last year, live a calm and private life at their home in Anglesey, North Wales. But it's been revealed the prince enjoys treating his wife when they're together.

"William believes romance is important," a source confessed. "He's not cheesy but he does like to make romantic gestures."

The royal couple have spent the last year visiting countries across the globe, gaining a huge worldwide fan base. But when they're at home, in Anglesey or in London, life is a lot more normal.

According to Us Weekly, Catherine will start a typical day in the UK capital with an early morning run in the grounds of Kensington Palace, followed by a healthy breakfast and she then browses through the latest charity reports.

She'll attend any public engagements and if possible, fit in a hair appointment. The evenings are either spent at home or in the company of her sister.

"If William is not in London, she'll spend time with Pippa, who comes for a visit when they're both free," a source explained.

The prince spends a typical day in Anglesey flying with the RAF. He'll have breakfast with the officers at 7am and then will begin answering any search-and-rescue calls, ensuring the team are in the air within 15 minutes.

William's afternoons will consist of a short lunch, followed by performing any other duties with his squadron. He returns home to Kate the next morning after sleeping at the RAF base.

"Kate is a military wife, supporting her husband whenever possible," a press officer added.
