ONE of I'm A Celebrity... star Pat Sharp's sons has leapt to his defence over outbursts that left ­others in the jungle in tears.

Pat rounded on Sinitta for her poor ­performances in the Bushtucker Trials and has threatened to behead Lorraine Chase's beloved bear. The former Funhouse presenter's actions left campmate Chrissy Rock in tears, and branding him "a bully". But son Dan insisted he was not a Mr Nasty, saying: "I'm not surprised Dad complained about Sinitta – she was being a complete pansy.

"He's a jack-the-lad. He doesn't want to sit on the fence or shy away from an argument."

Veteran DJ Pat, 50, also caused a rumpus when he made threats against Lorraine's Tedwood toy. But Dan, 21, put the ­controversy down to his father's quirky sense of ­humour. He said: "Dad's not a bully."

Dan said mum Monica, 46 – Pat's wife of 25 years – has laughed off the idea her husband fancies campmates Emily Scott and ­Jessica-Jane Clement.

Pat and Fatima Whitbread go head-to-head in a Bushtucker Trial tonight to try to stay in the jungle, after coming bottom of the viewer vote.
