Red Nose effort for Comic Relief - BBC News

Fundraising efforts for Comic Relief are being held in the north east of Scotland and the Northern Isles.

School children are taking part in special Red Nose Day fundraising events.

Workers at many businesses have also been encouraging colleagues to donate thanks to money-making ideas.

Meanwhile, Comic Relief - Funny for Money is live on BBC One from 7pm as celebrities come together in bid to raise many millions of pounds.
