African honeymoon for the royal couple? - African Business Review

British press have reported that newly-married Prince William and Kate Middleton have jetted off to the Seychelles for their honeymoon.

The couple, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, tied the knot on Friday 29 April at Westminster Abbey in front of a TV audience of millions across the world.

The Seychelles, a string of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean about 1,000 miles off the eastern coast of Kenya, would provide a remote location for the pair, with many exclusive islands available for hiring.

The pair are reportedly staying on the secluded North Island, around 19 miles away from the capital city of Victoria, although there has been no official statement from Buckingham Palace except for the press to respect their right to privacy.

William and Kate are no strangers to Africa, with Wills popping the question while on holiday at a Kenyan safari resort in October and having travelled in the continent in recent years.
