The Duchess of Cambridge continued her reign over the style set last night when she stepped out in an oyster grey silk Jenny Packham gown.
But it's not the first time we've seen the Grecian-inspired design. The label is a favourite with a host of Hollywood stars - most notably Angelina Jolie, who wore the same style in red to a premiere in May.
It is little surprise that the dress has proved such a favourite. It is demure enough for formal Royal occasions in that is shows no cleavage, and the folds of fabric and flowing skirt do not cling too much. But the asymmetric neckline reveals a sexy flash of shoulder.

The ribbon tie at the waist gives the gown a feminine silhouette - and of course demonstrates how slim both women are.
Both, of course, also share long dark hair, worn loose, in keeping with the carefree feel of the dress.
Such a statement dress requires little embellishment in terms of jewellery - but what there was, dazzled.
As well as her famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring, Catherine wore Art Deco-style diamond chandelier earrings and a diamond bracelet.

Angelina's bling was no less impressive, with a large gold cocktail ring and coordinating stud earrings.
But that is where the similarities ended. Catherine's dress, which bore an all-important poppy pin to mark Remembrance Day, was a heavy silk, catching the light.
Angelina's instead, was chiffon, causing the fabric folds to fall in a slightly different way. A slight ruffle beneath the exposed shoulder also differed from Catherine's version.
Royal seal of approval: Catherine wore Jenny Packham's designs three times this summer alone. At the ARK gala in London in June (left), in Calgary, Canada in July (centre) and at the polo in Santa Barbara (right)
But they are not the only high-profile figures to fall for Jenny Packham's creations. Though Catherine is most regularly seen in the label, the Brit designer now has an extensive star fan base.
Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are among the bright young things to favour her eveningwear
Once known for just bridalwear, Ms Packham has started showing at New York Fashion Week - the most recent show in September saw Mandy Moore sit front row.
Angelina looks like a wax figure, all her red carpets she looks waxy, a heavy cream that hides all the imperfections ... and Kate's shots are candid while Angelina's are on the red carpet, where the lighting is supposed to make the subjects look their best. Second, Angelina isn't natural, she'd had 2 nose jobs, eye work and check implants and uses hair extensions in the back to give her thin hair volume and length, while Kate has had no work done. Not that I care but since we've become a society that evaluates people's worth by their looks, let's at least be honest on what it takes for them to look as they do.
