THIS is the exclusive first picture of the sensational Vauxhall Astra GTC VXR the hottest Astra ever.
The GTC coup is about to go on sale but this stonking three-door red VXR is the undoubted pick of the range.
With a 2litre turbo engine boosted to 280bhp, the VXR will be the fastest Astra ever and have a 155mph top speed.
It gets immense 19in sports alloys, a huge gaping front mesh grillle and triangular air intakes.
The swooping athletic roofline culminates at the rear with a subtle spoiler and it gets double chrome tailpipes.
The VXR goes on sale next year there are no official figures yet, but it is expected it to come with a price tag of around 23,000.
