Scarlett Johansson has admitted the nude photos that were leaked online in September were intended for her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The Lost In Translation actress, who called in the help of the FBI over the stolen saucy snaps, claims that she took the two semi-naked images on her mobile phone for her partner at the time.

Speaking to Vanity Fair about the pics, Scar-Jo revealed: "Those are old, from three years ago. They were sent to my husband. There's nothing wrong with that."

She continued: "It's not like I was shooting a porno – although there's nothing wrong with that either."

The 26-year old then went on to joke that she wasn't embarrassed by the naked snaps, as they showed her in a flattering light because she "knows her best angles."

Johansson's two year marriage to Reynold's ended last in divorce last December and she has since been linked to Sean Penn and Bradley Cooper.

Christopher Chaney, the man accused of hacking Scarlett's mobile phone and leaking the snaps, has since pleaded not guilty to the charges of identity theft, unauthorised access to a protected computer and wiretapping.
