TO be part of a Guinness World Record attempt is really exciting.

It's a great honour to have one of my photos beamed on the side of Buckingham Palace. And I was there to see it.

This project is a great way to get kids involved — 250,000 children have supplied a self-portrait. Even though their work may be small, this picture is going to be published and published.

A £1MILLION boat to head the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant was launched yesterday.

The ornate 94ft row barge — featuring sweet chestnut given by Prince Charles — harks back 200 years to when royals travelled by water.

It took to the Thames at Isleworth, West London. The Queen will formally name it Gloriana next week. It will star in a 1,000-strong flotilla of boats on June 3 to mark her 60-year reign.
