Rihanna recently made Time's list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World and the Bajan superstar celebrated the honor by attending Time's 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday night (April 24) with her mother. According to one of Rihanna's tweets from the night, her mom thought the event was an ideal time to poke fun at her about those rumors that she's been dating Ashton Kutcher.
"Well.... 2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate.!" Rihanna tweeted.
Last month Rihanna was reportedly photographed leaving Kutcher's Los Angeles home during the wee hours of the morning, sparking rumors that they were dating. During a press conference for her upcoming film "Battleship" in London, one bold reporter was brave enough to ask Rihanna about the rumors, and Rih was simply not amused. "Wow, how disappointing was that question," she said. "I'm happy and I'm single, if that's what you're really asking."
In April, another interview tried to breach personal ground once again, leaving Rihanna looking visibly annoyed.
"[It's] very frustrating," Rihanna she responded to the question about her persona life. "Almost as frustrating as being asked about it."
"Well people are interested in you, you're a big star," the reporter added.
"They are. And they're interested in a lot of things — a lot of things that don't matter," she resonded. "Or shouldn't."
Clearly Rihanna's mom has a sense of humor about the Ashton rumors as well.
