The employment tribunal decision in the case of sacked dinner lady Carol Hill is a victory for common sense.
She should never have been fired for telling a couple their young daughter was bullied.
The head and governors of the Essex school made a silly mistake and it's regrettable they failed to correct it earlier. Carol Hill can hold her head up high and parents do have a right to be told the facts about incidents involving their children.
The school should now offer Mrs Hill her old job back. Whether she takes it is up to her.
