TWO RAF pilots survived after their Tornado jet crashed yesterday off the west coast of Scotland.
Both crew members from RAF Lossiemouth ejected from the jet before it went into the sea.
Coastguard and lifeboat teams were scrambled to the area near Gairloch.
The two air crew were airlifted by helicopter to Raigmore hospital in Inverness. They are not believed to be injured.
Witnesses said a second Tornado circled the scene moments after the crash.
