GTA 5's debut trailer is here, and among the reveals, images and speculation we asked game industry analyst and long-time GTA 5 commentator Jesse Divnich, for his response to Rockstar's promo.
"It's a trailer, a trailer that was scrutinized for months internally at Rockstar. They made sure every pixel was perfect," he told us. "It is no different than in the movies....everything looks exciting when you see it in trailer form."
Regardless of the trailer, Rockstar's track-record means that GTA 5 will sell itself, Divnich added. "All that being said, this is Grand Theft Auto and I have little concern about the potential success of GTA V. As an Analyst it is my profession to analyze every imaginable data point to come to an objective conclusion on the potential success of video games. But when it comes to Rockstar, I found it is better to just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's Rockstar and this isn't their first rodeo."
Recent speculation put potential sales well over the 20 million+ units that GTA IV sold - Divnich told us GTA 5 could be 'biggest launch ever'.
