Former Labour chief whip admits phone was tapped while in office - Mirror.co.uk

FORMER Labour Cabinet minister Nick Brown is the latest MP to claim that his phone has been tapped.

Mr Brown said while he was in government he had been talking to an "important person" on his landline.

He then picked the phone up to make another call and heard his conversation being played back.

A police probe into phone hacking at the News of the World has been reopened.

Former Cabinet minister Tessa Jowell said there was an attempt last week to access her voicemail.
