Birmingham City fans head to Wembley Carling Cup final - BBC News

Thousands of Birmingham City fans are making their way to Wembley for their team's first major Wembley final since 1956.

The Blues are playing Arsenal in the Carling Cup Final on Sunday.

The club was allocated nearly 31,500 tickets, all of which have been snapped up with fans queuing from the early hours when they went on sale.

The club got through to the final by defeating West Ham in the semi-final, four goals to three on aggregate.

Blues lost to Manchester City in the 1956 FA Cup final.
