Move to freeze Mubarak assets - Financial Times

Egypt's public prosecutor has launched an effort to freeze the foreign assets of former president Hosni Mubarak and his immediate family, in a move that comes after governance experts attacked his failure to pursue the ex-leader.

The prosecutor said on Monday that he had asked the foreign ministry to request a stay on the overseas wealth of Mr Mubarak, his wife Suzanne and his two sons, Gamal and Alaa, together with their wives, according to Reuters.
