She's already the darling of classical radio, but Myleene Klass added another string to her bow by joining the presenting team of Heart FM.

The ex-Hear'Say star is set to host her very own festive special called 'Myleene's Klass Christmas' on the commercial station.

And the mother of two welcomed X Factor's Ella Henderson to sing on her festive broadcast.

A former talent show star herself, Myleene has a lot in common with Ella.

And despite the 18-year age gap, the youthful presenter looked barely five-years older than her musical guest.

But although the 34-year old is also a singer, it looked like she was playing the role of pianist for their musical session.

Wearing a seasonal velvet dress in plum, Myleene allowed her rich brunette locks to cascade passed her shoulders.

Ella, however, pulled her golden blonde hair back into a ponytail and wore an all-black outfit that emphasised her hourglass figure, a staple look for the 16-year old.

Speaking of her new show, Myleene couldn't be happier: 'I'm so excited to be joining the Heart presenter line up.

'To be given my own show, a piano and the chance to work with some incredible people (as well as the seemingly constant supply of mince pies), is a lovely way to get in the Christmas spirit.' the classical musician continued.

She isn't the only person to wax lyrical about the programme.

Former Fame Academy judge Richard Park - and Global Radio's Director of Broadcasting - said: 'We are thrilled with the new faces joining Heart this Christmas and New Year. What a great way to end a successful year and kick start 2013!'

Myleene won't be the only celebrity face to join Heart's Christmas line-up.

Mark Wright has been drafted in to host 'Party Classics' on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 7pm.

His presenter role will continue after the New Year to cover Friday and Saturday nights on the Heart network.

Mylenee. With her basic " talents " she might have a more of a " career " than her " rivals ". But basically, she is famous for staring into a camera and looking smug / witless / inane / vacant, or a combination of those and more. But by God does she have an EGO the size of a small planet. Faced with her self absorbed smugness, I actually prefer a dumb, uncomplicated TOWIE " cast member ". Myleene, just Imogen Thomas with Grade 5 Piano.

Gorgeous lady and it looks like she putting on a bit of weight thank goodness.
