Metro reports that the singer took to Twitter on Friday (August 24th) to refute claims that she and Beckham had taken out a super-injunction to block reports of their relationship.
Jenkins was subjected to replies from users saying they would "cut" her if the rumours turned out to be true, with one account tweeting "'I'll kill that s*** Katherine Jenkins".
"Due to the serious nature of the threats, the tweets have been reported to the police," said a spokesperson for the 32-year-old mezzo-soprano. The threats and associated accounts are now said to be being investigated.
Jenkins seemed to be trying to put the events behind her yesterday (August 25th), as she tweeted for the first time since the threats were made.
"Back to work #HappySaturday," she posted and uploaded a picture of herself smiling in a recording studio.
