NERVOUS Nick Grimshaw made a steady debut on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning.
But despite pulling out the stops with big name interviews with One Direction's Harry Styles and Justin Bieber, it appears the 28-year-old has a big challenge on his hands to appease some listeners.
Nick got the prestigous job after Chris Moyles' huge eight year stint as the show's presenter came to an end.
However it wasn't long before #MissMoyles started to trend on Twitter this morning.
One listener @Redlouis wrote: "@CHRISDJMOYLES I remember wasn't you on the radio for a bit!! Lol miss you guys it ain't the same! #missmoyles"
Another @ginadanielle added: "Up and listening to @grimmers. I'm wearing my cynical face and reserving judgement! #missmoyles"
@ASBader86 continued: "Radio 1 breakfast is now rubbish!! #missmoyles"
@mrcos12 tweeted: "How s**** is Nick Grimshaw #missmoyles"
Bosses are hoping Nick, 10 years younger than Moyles who left earlier this month, can bring in listeners from its target 15 to 29 target audience.
And Harry's One Direction bandmate Niall Horan gave the show a big thumbs-up.
He tweeted: "Go on grimmy! great show dude! @grimmers , love the way the robot calls him "grimey"
Other fans rushed to Twitter to give their seal of approval.
@mattwoodywood said: "Nick Grimshaw on the Radio One Breakfast show. I actually turned the radio on this morning!! Progress BBC. Progress."
@matty1dir added: "@grimmers congratulations! Top show this morning boss! While fully aware the changeover might cause a dip in listeners, Nick did also get his fair share of positive feedback."
