4 die in UK offshore engineering accident - BusinessWeek

Four workers at a British offshore engineering company have died in an industrial accident in England.

Police say emergency services were called to a Claxton Engineering building site in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk on Friday afternoon. They say the four men died at the scene.

It is not immediately clear what occurred at the site. The BBC reports that the men were killed when a steel structure collapsed or tilted onto them. Police have launched an investigation into the deaths.

Great Yarmouth is about 135 miles (220 kilometers) northeast of London. U.K.-based Claxton specializes in engineering services for offshore oil drilling.
