US and UK to look at Libya fuel blockade - Financial Times

Britain and the US will on Tuesday examine fresh ways to undermine Muammer Gaddafi's forces inside Libya, looking to see whether action can be taken to cut fuel supplies to the Libyan leader's armed forces on the ground.

As Nato steps up operations against Colonel Gaddafi, launching an attack on his compound near Tripoli on Monday, the UK and US will examine whether it will be possible to impose a maritime blockade on fuel supplies to the regime.
