THE owner of a seaside B&B who drilled spy holes into rooms and recorded guests having sex was jailed for 18 weeks today.
Pervert Paul Williams, 60, made the holes in at least THREE rooms, then watched romps and even made audio recordings.
Married dad Williams was caught when a 16-year-old girl saw a fire regulation poster move on the door to an adjoining room.
The girl and her boyfriend removed the sign and found a spy hole at the Sandsea B&B in Scarborough, North Yorks.
They also spotted Williams shuffling away from the room in his dressing gown.
The horrified couple alerted pals also staying at the guesthouse and they too found the holes.
A court also heard they found a link to a recorder countaining sounds of "people having sex".
They spent the night huddled in one room to keep each other safe before getting a refund the next morning and calling police.
Steve Ovenden, prosecuting, told Scarborough Magistrates' Court the guests had been left feeling "sick and horrified".
One of the guests told police that she was "terrified and couldn't wait to leave".
Williams, who has grown-up daughters, admitted voyeurism. He told cops he originally made the holes to check that guests did not leave without paying and because he suspected some were taking drugs.
Mr Ovenden told the court: "He claimed it started innocently, but he had recorded couples having sex."
Franklyn Garvey, defending, said Williams's family were standing by him. He added: "The incident is a very sad blemish on what has been a peerless record. He has no convictions and has never been in trouble before."
Williams's victims and their families were watching from the public gallery as he was sentenced today. He showed no emotion as he was jailed.
Magistrate Kate Warnock-Smith said: "These offences are so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified because it was breach of trust as a hotelier and the young age of some of the victims.
"We note the victim impact statements and the distress caused."
Williams was ordered to register as a sex offender for seven years.
