The UK's first designer tablet has been launched after fashion house Pierre Cardin entered the market earlier this week.

The Android 2.2 powered 7" tablet is attempting to prove technology doesn't have to be "cold and boring" according to Kam Kothia from eBusiness UK.

It boasts both WiFi and 3G capability but the technical side of this is not the focus. Unsurprisingly the design is, and at first look it looks sleek and modern.

Realistically this tablet isn't attempting to go up against the iPad or any other serious performance tablet. Priced at £275 this is one for the technology conscious fashionista.
