There's going to be Aloud cheer for Kimberley - The Sun

THE Strictly final is going to have a glam audience with Kimberley Walsh's bandmates Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts ready to join the crowd.

The Girls Aloud stars cheered their pal on from the sidelines on Saturday and their support seemed to do wonders for Kimberley as she landed a top score of 40 for her Charleston with partner Pasha Kovalev.

Cheryl had beau Tre Holloway with her and was tweeting excitedly during the show.

One message raved: "KILLED ITtttttttttt. Boooom!" and another said: "That's our girl."

- STRICTLY may be doing better than the X Factor but ratings are still down on last year with a million fewer viewers tuning in to see the semi-final.

Saturday's show pulled in a peak of 11.3million viewers, while last year's penultimate showdown drew in 12.3m.

The ratings average last winter was 10.7m, compared to 10.4m recorded on Saturday.

Back then, McFly drummer Harry Judd won against actress Chelsee Healey and Aussie star Jason Donovan.

- LOUIS SMITH is desperate to show off his gymnastic prowess by leaping from the balcony to join dance partner Flavia Cacace in the final.

A source said of Louis: "He's proven his skills by adding lots of daring lifts into his routines with Flavia but wants to show he has more in him."
