Pixar movie Toy Story 3 has been named the highest-grossing film of 2010. The final installment in the franchise raked in over $1.06 billion at the worldwide box office following its summer release.
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland came second in the list after taking $1.02 billion while the first of the two-part Harry Potter finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, came in third with $861 million (£574 million), reports The Guardian
The fourth highest-grossing picture of the year was Inception, with earnings of $825 million (£550 million), while the final Shrek movie, Shrek Forever After, was fifth with $740 million (£493 million).
The top 10 is rounded out by The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Iron Man 2, Despicable Me, Clash Of The Titans, and How To Train Your Dragon.
