The death of a woman whose body was found washed up on the Kent coast is being treated as unexplained by police.
Kent Police said a dog walker found the body at a slipway at Minnis Bay, Kent, at about 0730 GMT on Wednesday.
The woman was aged in her 50s and is thought to be from Sidcup, south-east London.
A spokeswoman said: "The coroner has been informed. The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of post-mortem testing."
She added that although the woman had not been formally identified next of kin had been informed.
