Titus Bramble charged with two sex crimes - The Sun

SOCCER star Titus Bramble was charged yesterday with TWO sexual assaults just 90 minutes apart.

The Sunderland defender was alleged to have groped one woman's bottom at around 1am in a nightclub.

And he was accused of assaulting a DIFFERENT woman at about 2.30am as they took a taxi to his luxury home.

Bramble, 30, was also hit with a third charge accusing him of urinating in public. No action will be taken over a suspected drugs charge after he passed two drugs tests. Bramble left a police station in Middlesbrough "shocked" at 11am yesterday after being told to appear before magistrates on November 10.

He refused to comment but his lawyer Phil Smith, of London-based Tuckers Solicitors, said yesterday: "My client vehemently denies the charges and will be vigorously contesting them."

Bramble was arrested last month after leaving the Keys club in Yarm, North Yorks, to head to his home near Billingham, Teesside.

Sunderland said he was "training independently" pending internal club investigations.
